Meizu recently expanded its portfolio and unveiled two new smartphones in the Chinese market. Meizu Pro 7 and Meizu Pro 7 Plus are the prices of the latest Mewizu mobile starting from CNA 2,880 (around Rs 27,500) and CNY 3,580 (about Rs 34,000) respectively. Smartphone’s biggest highlight is the second AMOLED display unique in the rear. Both smartphones will be made available for purchase in China from August 5.
Previously, LG V20 claimed a second-screen feature at the top of the display on the front panel. However, second screen concept is different on Meizu Pro 7 and Meizu Pro7 Plus. The second screen is on the rear panel. It allows notification and performance for various purposes, such as time, weather, notifications, and can also be used to take images using the rear camera.
Meizu Pro 7
On the specification front, the Meiju Pro 7 features a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080 × 1920 pixel) Super AMOLED display and has a 1.9-inch Super AMOLED display with 240 × 536 pixels and 307ppi pixel density. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS powered by Flyme OS 6.

The handset will be offered in two formats – the price of the 64 GB storage model with Helio P25 SoC for CNY 2,880 (about 27,500 rupees), while the other model CNY 4,080 (about 38,800 rupees) with Helio X30 SoC and 128 GB storage.
Under the hood, there is a 2.5GHz MediaTek Helio P25 octa-core processor paired with Mali T880 GPU for 64GB storage variant. And, the 128GB variant boasts a 2.6GHz MediaTek Helio X30 deca-core 10nm SoC paired with PowerVR 7XTP MP4 GPU. Both the variants pack 4GB of RAM.
On the camera front, Meizu Pro 7 offers a 12MP dual rear camera setup that integrates a monochrome and an RGB sensor with PDAF, LED flash, and F/2.0 aperture. In front, there is a 16mm safe shooter with F/2.0 aperture. The handset has a 3000 mAh battery with mCharge fast charging support. The connectivity option on the device includes 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi, it measures the dimensions of 147.62 × 70.72 × 7.3 mm and weighs 164 grams.
Meizu Pro 7 Plus
Meizu Pro 7 Plus has a 5.7-inch quad HD (1440 × 2560 pixels) super AMOLED display, with 19-inch super AMOLED display behind it. The phone is available in two formats – 6 GB of RAM + 64 GB internal storage for CNY 3,580 (about Rs 34,000) and 6 GB RAM + 128GB for storage.
The larger version is equipped with a 2.6GHz MediaTek X30 10 nm deca-core processor, paired with 6 GB RAM and Power VR 7 XPP MP4 GPU. The handset pulls the power from the 3500 mAh battery with the charging technology of Mcharge 4.0 fast charging technology. It measures the dimensions of 157.34 × 77.24 × 7.3 mm and weighs 170 grams.
