As far as specifications are concerned, the Asus router has a combined tri-band data rate of 5334Mbps. The router weighs about 1.8kgs and the dimensions are 9.65 x 9.65 x 2.56 inches. The Broadcom NitroQAMTM Technology boosts two 5GHz data rates up to 4334Mbps and 2.4GHz up to 1000Mbps. The router has a Tri-Band Smart Connect feature which automatically selects the fastest of the three available frequency bands for each device, based on the device’s speed, signal strength and how busy each band is. The router also has parental control feature to block certain websites from being accessible to their kids’ devices. The app for the router lets you set it up if you don’t want to use the CD provided in the box.
